Join us for an opportunity to hear the Weatherby’s 254-year history and how the business has diversified over 7 generations. Hear from Roger Weatherby, Chair of Weatherby’s Banking Group who joined the business in 1997, about the breadth of the business as it stands today.

This fireside chat will explore how the business diversified from the administration and accounting for horse racing into a host of primarily racing-related activities and then in 1994; after gaining a banking license for the accounting for racehorse owners, has grown steadily into a banking group with deposits in excess of £1.5 billion. The business continues to administer horse racing in the UK, as in 1770, but now also owns the stud book in Great Britain and Ireland in which all thoroughbred horses must be registered and has subsidiary businesses in asset finance, investment and personal insurance.
