About
A Family Council forms an important communication bridge between the business and the family whether it is educating the family for their future responsibilities, acting as a bridge between the family and the business to settling disputes within the family.
In this meeting, we will look at a case study provided by Ben Allan at Wykeland Group. We will explore key points including:
- When and why did the business form a Family Council?
- Formalising the family involvement
- How do they all connect, maintain family harmony and facilitate family education?
- How/Who keeps the family informed on the ‘big-picture’ issues?
- How/Who talks to the Board?
Following the case study, there will be a Question and Answer session to delve into the topics raised in more detail.
This community exists for those in Family Councils to connect, and support those newly appointed, or well established in their leadership role, to share knowledge and best practice.
